The BBC series “The Sheriffs Are Coming” follows the story of Randeep and Amardeep Dhesi. When they married in 2009, they engaged a videographer to record their special day and supply a video and photo album. The photo album they chose never materialised, and the video and photos they eventually got, months later, were of very poor quality.
Randeep obtained a judgment and instructed The Sheriffs Office to transfer it up to the High Court and enforce the writ of control (formerly known as a writ of fieri facias).
Fortunately, Randeep had told us that she believed the videographer had a studio at his home. When our officers attended, they gained peaceable entry to his home and found the studio in the back garden. The Dhesis received all their money and are very pleased. This is what Randeep had to say:
"I don't want anyone else to go through what we went through, that's why I'm doing all this. Going to The Sheriffs office was the best thing I've ever done. They made life so much easier."
